Investigators say 26-year-old Michael Cruz of Tennessee was driving the wrong direction on the interstate when his vehicle slammed head-on into a car carrying four young passengers. The impact was catastrophic.
Cruz sustained critical injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment. Tragically, all four occupants of the other vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene.
The victims have been identified as 20-year-old Kiercey Hickson of Stillwater, 19-year-old Quincy Jones of El Reno, 18-year-old Haleigh Salazar of El Reno, and 18-year-old Brad Palmer of El Reno.
